Nick has issues. He just inherited one third of a bounty hunting agency. His mother is suffering from Alzheimer's. His daughter thinks it is her job to rebel against the world and his wife wants current and past due child support payments.
He and his brother, Stephen, need to find their sister, Martie who disappeared from the scene a long time ago to sign some papers regarding the family business. When will Nick have time to breath much less build up this bounty hunting agency?
He may not because his daughter is going to test every limit, a man from Nick's past will escape from jail, and Nick will falsely arrest someone.
Kind of hard to believe the name of this guy's bounty hunting agency is "Prodigal Recovery Agency" isn't it?
A good read about a guy who definitely does not have it all figured out. Suspense around every corner. I liked it. Hubs loved it. Win/Win!
Shepherd's Fall is the first of three books. Wanda has finished the second in this series called Shepherd's Run,that will come out in 2010. And she's hard at work on the third and final installment of the Prodigal Recovery Series - Marti's story -- tentatively called Shepherd's Quest.
