Churches Asking For Abortion Funds

Michael and his wife spend their days working with young women who have found themselves pregnant.     Michael and Brenda have formed "The Christmas Village" which gives these young ladies hope.     A beautiful home to live and being taken care of while they are pregnant.      They make sure that their physical needs are met, but more importantly that their spiritual needs are fed as well.

That is why it is extremely disheartening to wake up on this amazing Lord's Day and find this news waiting for Michael.       A group of churches.... yes I said a group of churches..  have written a letter to Congress asking to make sure that the health care bills they are working on have taxpayer funding for abortions.   What?

No disrespect, but if you are sitting in the pew of a American Baptist Church (not Southern Baptist Church), Church of the Brethren, Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, Presbyterian Church U.S.A., United Church of Christ, or the United Methodist Church... it might be time to start praying about if that is the right church for you.

In the United States, 1,600,000 babies are aborted in these United States every year.  That is 4,383 a day; 181 a day; 3 a minute!      And these churches just banned together to ask that our taxpayer dollars go to pay to fund the murder of these three babies each minute.

No wonder it is raining on this Sunday.    I wouldn't be surprised if God is weeping.

And we wonder why our country is in turmoil? We are disregarding God's word on the sanctity of life and of the family he structure He created.

People aren't studying the Bible.
