A Special Day

This Sunday our family will be celebrating
Little Guy's outward expression of is very important
inward decision to ask Jesus into his heart.

I will never forget the day we were driving down the road and
his little voice came from the back seat asking about how
to ask Jesus into his heart.      In his little practical matter he just began
praying out loud and asked Jesus to come in and live.

We talked about baptism at that point with our Pastor,
but for some reason he said he wasn't ready.    We told him that
baptism was a special time and we wanted him to be ready.
Back in the summer, in the same no nonsense manner he announced
that he was ready.     So this Sunday we will be celebrating this
next milestone in his Christian walk.

"I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth."
3 John 1:4

So happy for you!! You know they allow you up in the baptistry to take pics, don't you? When we helped last time I took pics for all the parents watching from the congregation.

YAY!!! I hope that God blesses him with a servant's heart, and that your son always sees God's path for him and that he follows it faithfully. :)

Oh, that's just wonderful! Congratulations to him and your whole family :) We're also going to a baptism this Sunday, of our 14 year old nephew. Such awesome milestones in their lives!
