You remember the days. You sweet little baby starts crying in the middle of the night for his feeding so you get up and get the routine started. Everything is going well until you turn on the crazy lamp. Why is that so bright? All of a sudden those tiny little whimpers go into a full on scream and instead of a quick and easy routine it is a long drawn out process of getting sweet guy back to sleep.
Next night, you try to do the routine without the lamp but in the dark you stump your toe on the dresser and scream which in essence provokes the same full on scream from baby so you are back to square one.
Where was this little device when my boys were little?
A manual lamp dimmer switch.
It is going on my shopping list for baby sister.

Oh, that is such a cool gift idea. We had one of those bears holding the balloons lights which was not NEARLY bright enough to keep me from killing myself -- often in a full-on run to keep the kid from waking the REST of the kids, I'd forget to yank on my glasses. No glasses, no light... not a happy combo. You're right, where WAS that thing when ours were little!
Mini-me slept in a pack&play the first 5 months of her life and it had a very dim light on the side that would allow me to check on her instead of turning on a bright lamp so I think your gift idea sounds FABULOUS!
cool...i need to get one of those!!!
great gift... :)
That little puppy's a stroke of genius!
That's cool.
But wouldn't a night light be cheaper?
I use those glade nightlight things.
