Fine Line

Guess what I did this past weekend? You guessed it! I got the spend the entire weekend with my sweet nieces. Aren't they beautiful? The bibs they are wearing have the names of their cat (Genesis) and dog (Jack). I can't believe how much they have grown. MM (on the left) looks so much like my sister and LK (on the right) looks amazingly like my BIL. I have said it before, but I have to say it again. God's fingerprints.... all over them!

I got home about lunch on Sunday and the boys had a full dinner cooked. As much as I loved spending time with my sisters and my nieces, I missed my boys so much. There is nothing like walking in the door and being smothered with hugs and kisses. Little Guy had a friend spend the weekend and he said, "Man, he missed you a lot!"

After Little Guy's friend went home we crawled up in my bed to snuggle, watch tv and nap. I fell asleep and started dreaming. I was having some really crazy dreams. At one point I was dreaming that I had a box and people were trying to grab it. One guy was grabbing the box and he had glasses on. I reached up to try to slap the glasses off his face. All of a sudden a sound woke me up out of my sleep. In my sleep I had actually been slapping and I had slapped Little Guy in the face TWICE! Oh, his face. It was awful. He was holding his nose and he had tears in his eyes. "Mom, why did you slap me?" I thought I was going to die! I felt worse than awful! Hubs came running to see that all the commotion was all about and he couldn't believe it either.

Thank goodness he loves me, but I am not sure he is ever going to nap with me again!

Oh, so glad Little Guy is an understanding soul. And aren't dreams wild sometimes? Those little girls are precious gifts from God, and you're so lucky to be their Auntie! BTW, wanted to remind you that today is Uncle Lynn's birthday, and I'm running a one-day POPrs giveaway to celebrate. Please come by!

I still can't believe it happened. Little Guy could have asked for a car at that moment and I think I would have bought it for him!
