Happy Birthday, Shane!

Last Saturday night we threw a little party for my BFF, Shane. Her husband and I coordinated it and fortunately we were able to pull it off without blowing it. She was truly surprised. Whew!
I think the only reason we pulled it off is because we planned it a week early.

We hosted the party at Olga's Restaurant. If you have never had dinner there.... go! The food was absolutely delicious. Olga and Yuriy, the Russian restaurant owners, have created a menu that is a beautiful marriage of Russian and southern cuisine.

Stuffed mushrooms, quesadillas, ribeye with crawfish cream sauce, tiramisu.... oh heavens!

Olga's is even open for lunch from 11am - 2pm which means you don't have to settle for a cold sandwich.

It also means that the next date day for Hubs and I..... I know where we are going!!
