Last weekend while hubs and Big Guy were gone, Little Guy and I went to the Pathways Family Festival. Little Guy was completely in his element. The gym was filled with science experiments, display tables filled with foods and exhibits from various countries. Outside Little Guy watched a K-9 drug dog demonstration and was fascinated with an archaeologist showing how arrowheads are made. His favorite part of the festival was the geocaching scavenger hunt.
When we left he was smiling from ear to ear. Science is definitely one of his favorite ways to spend a Saturday!
And the next pic is one we took of Little Guy. He is sound asleep on my elliptical trainer. See how he made himself a nice pallet on the trainer. He is always playing on it -- using it as a fort or motorcycle or whatever --- but this is the first time he has used it as a bed!

I just can't imagine that's comfortable!!
But yeah for science!!
that last pic is a riot!!! :)
ah, a chemist in the making! LOL that last pic reminds me of the night i moved to Knoxville from MS, my family came to help (of course) and Lil Bro (who was about 11 at the time) decided to sleep in one of the closets in the apartment. he woke up the next morning with a crick in his neck! hope Lil Guy didn't get one
I hate we missed that event. I heard it was good. Hubby had gone to Birmingham to check on Mr. Phillips and I didn't know how the boy would fit in. I know Sissy would have loved it. Maybe we can make the next one.
Is that an example of how much that trainer gets used? ;)
Hmmm, into food, into science; bet he loves Alton!
Awwwwwwwwwwwww I love that picture!!!! Glad he had a good time, science is a cool subject.
He is just so cute.
Have a blessed weekend

It is great that the two of you found something special to do, while the "big guys" were away.
We went with some friends to Science City, downtown Kansas City, on Monday while the girls were out of school. They did an awesome job of making science fun! Our ticket also included the planetarium show - a first for the girls as well. Neat stuff!
Love your mosaic, and the snap of LG...did he have a crick in his neck when he woke up? Listen, I've got a treat for you today, so come by and see, please. And don't forget Sx3 tomorrow...it might get your creative juices flowing!
Great pics! all of them! and now I have a new idea for my treadmill use. :)
