What Did You Say?

"Courage is fear that has said its prayers."

Isn't that the best little quote? Our pastor used it in his sermon yesterday. He is doing a sermon series on stress.

During a particular point of his sermon, I turned to hubs to whisper something because it really hit home for us. Little Guy was sitting between us and so he looked up and whispered, "What did you just say?"

I just patted his leg and whispered back, "Nothing."

He gave me this "look". I wish I had a picture of it because that tilted head, little smirk, and raised eyebrows raised it definitely said, "I know it is something, but you just aren't telling me."

I got dangerously tickled. I grabbed a piece of paper and wrote this note:

You are my funny little guy
who is way too perceptive.
I love you!

He read it and wrote this note back:

You are my funny Mom
who is going to teach me
what perceptive means.
Love you too!

Oh my word he cracks me up!

Special Note: Betty, I am thinking and praying for you today! I can't wait to hear your exciting news and see pics of your precious baby boy! **hugs and love**

Your little guy is to cute and smart, what a fast come back!
But it show's how much he is learning from his parents, and how much he is actually listening.
