The Bright Side

The only bright side to my six month check up at the dentist is the fact that his office is down the road from Great Harvest Bread Company.

I promise you can gain weight just walking through the doors of Great Harvest. The smells of yeasty yummy bread goodness overwhelm you the moment the doors crack a single inch. There is so much to choose from and it is all homemade: breads, muffins, scones, tea bread, cookies, and granola.

Little Guy was with me so I let him help me choose the breads we would take home because if I were left to choose I would have told them, "One of everything!".

He was immediately drawn to the pizza bread. Also knowing that we were low on bread, he thought we should get some honey whole wheat for sandwiches.

Finally, thanks to him, I am enjoying a piece of apple swirl bread with my morning coffee. What a treat!

It makes the session of torture with my dentist every six months all worth it. (Just kidding, Suzanne and Dr. C!)

Their cracked pepper and swiss bread is to die for.

I was so tempted to get that bread, but I was afraid that I would be the only one to eat it. That so doesn't fit into the new Harvest Food Pyramid! Ha!

Ooops. Meant Harvard Food Pyramid. Still have Great Harvest Bread on my mind!

I have to take a valium before I get my teeth cleaned. Seriously. p.s. I tried to play the stick figure video but couldn't?

Sue, I am with you! Not kidding. Just ask Suzanne. Serious phobia about dentists. My dentist told me that there is a high rate of suicides among dentist. I don't hate my dentist... just what is required when you go to his office!

I am not sure why Pivot didn't work for you. It has worked every time for me and Miss Mud Puddle viewed it too. Are you logging in with Firefox? Maybe that is it?

Now I'm reminded about my dentist appointment next week. Eek! I do have a fear of dentist and I'm slightly overdue, not to mention I'm going to a new one. Pray for me :)

Oh, yuck, Felicia! Sorry to remind you.

I love their Honey Whole wheat(it's not too horrible diet wise either). Does yours do the Whole wheat cinnamon chip bread? A-MAZ-ING!!
Makes a wonderful french toast.
Ours also does a blueberry bread for the UK games and a red, white and blue bread for national holidays, with cranberries and blueberries. SO GOOD!!

specialty breads are my crack...

and you all can't touch the phobia of dentist I possess....

I recently lost my long-time hygienist and I'm freaking. FREAKING out, I tell you. She knew my weird phobia. (it's not just the dentist act itself.. it's a phobia of other people flossing my teeth... don't ask).

I'm two months late in my cleaning. I don't know what to do! I guess I'll have to 'break' another hygienist in at that office but I was so hoping to track down where my old one went..

Anyone know a jewish singer named Nina M. who was in the Madison/Canton area that was a part-time hygienist on Lakeland?

Please? Anyone????

(sorry for hijacking this Deanna) =)

Sorry, Supermom! However, I would give Suzanne at Dr. Carter's office a call. She is great. She really worked with me and my fears.
