Shabby Princess

One of the things I have let lay neglected with being so involved with the boy's schools during the school year is my scrapbooking. I love digital scrapbooking. Unlike traditional scrapbooking, you can buy a piece of paper or an embellishment and use it over and over and over. I feel more frugal with my hobby doing it that way. On top of that I have found lots of websites that let you download tons of FREEBIES.

The site that is definitely #1 on my list is the Shabby Princess. I like her style, her tutorials, her FREEBIES, her suggestions... I like it all!

Each month on her blog she provides a great wallpaper that you can download and customize with your own photos. I love being able to turn on my computer each morning and see my sweet boy's faces instead of some generic wallpaper.

This is what this month's wallpaper looks like after I customized it for my computer:

I like to scrapbook but don't have the time like I once did. How does digital scrapbooking work exactly? I will definitely check out the site.

Hey! I would go to the Shabby Site or even a site called Two Peas in a Bucket and read some of their tutorials on getting started. They explain it WAY better than I could and that is where I got my tips for getting started. Once I discovered digital scrapbooking I was hooked!
