Outside My Window...
A flower bed planted by my husband and boys as part of my birthday present. Right in the middle of it is my cat sleeping very lazily.
I am thinking...
about the after school snacks that are in the oven baking and about my boys.
I am thankful for...
that God truly never leaves us or forsakes us.
From the kitchen...
I am baking a new batch Hidden Valley Ranch oyster crackers for the boys. I also have ribs in the crock pot.
I am wearing...
one of my husband's t-shirts and a pair of shorts.
I am creating...
a big mess in the kitchen with the cooking.
I am going...
crazy. I am just not good at being out of control and there are just some things in my life right that I have no control over.
I am reading...

I am hoping...
to get the house clean. Maybe it's more of a wish than a hope. Maybe it's science fiction. I'm not sure.
I am hearing...
the clicking of the keyboard, the sound of the air conditioner and my prayers running through my mind.
Around the house...
there are pockets of "to do's" that I just don't have the energy for right now.

The way my husband's face feels after he has just shaved.

For now I am just thinking about "now". One step at a time. Moment by moment. The rest of the week will just have to take care of itself.
