The good news--the excellent news is that Andy's best 2 days since the attack were Sunday and Monday.
Today he sat up in the cardio today and the the occupational therapist helped him to get dressed and took him downstairs for a haircut and shave. Talk about feeling like a new man.
He is sleeping a little better which for Andy means less pain and fewer nightmares. Family reports that he is more alert and responding to his surrounding more. These are all very good things.
Although they didn't explain a lot, there seems to be a lot of frustration right now surrounding the decision regarding where to move Andy. Andy and Daniel are examining the options and trying to make a decision about what is best for Andy.
Thanks for your prayers. Each day is progress, but sometimes even progress can seem painfully slow.

Thanks, Deanna, for the update! My hubby and I were just talking about "Army Andy" today and wondering about rehab and what's next after that for him. These are all questions that, of course, it's waaaay too soon for Andy but as outsiders looking in, we just hope that all of Andy's needs will be provided for in the long term. And his family's -- sometimes the family gets forgotten... Anyway, I'm rambling, it's late. Thanks again for the update!
Prayed for him while I read this. :) Slow and steady wins the race--hopefully, his progress will be steady until he experiences healing and recovery.
