WFMW - Frozen Fruit Kabobs

My boys tend to be a little picky about the fruits they eat, but I like them to try new fruits. I have discovered that frozen fruit kabobs are a great way for them to enjoy not only fruit, but to try new fruits.

I usually pick up wooden skewers at the end of summer sales for a quarter and store them in my kitchen drawers. When we buy fruit, the boys enjoy making fruit kabobs. As you can see below, it can be a very intense process.

When we are finished we have a tray full of fruit kabobs to put in the freezer. Everyone looks different, but that is O.K. We usually wind up eating as we talk and have no rhyme or reason to our process.

I wish I had taken a pic of our favorite way to eat these frozen fruit kabobs, but I didn't. We buy a bottle of chocolate Magic Shell. We pour a general line of chocolate over the frozen kabob and wait for the chocolate shell to harden. Oh, my! Soooooo good!

Maybe I should add Magic Shell to my grocery list!

If they haven't tried star fruit before, they are really sweet and tasty and would look so great on a skewer. Yumm!
