Word Filled Wednesday

Have you ever had a nightmare and you wanted to wake up but you just couldn't make yourself wake up? That is the way I feel right now. I feel like I am living in a nightmare and no matter what I do I can't wake up.
All of a sudden our life has been picked up, shaken like a snowglobe and sat down. The pieces are fallen down around us, but it looks nothing like that pretty snow.
While all of that sound very doom and gloom, God has been so faithful to me. Sermons that seemed preached just for me. A phone call from a friend I haven't talked to in 20 years. Someone giving an article that came out "amazingly" at just the right time. A friend who knew just the right person and has texted me countless words of encouragement.
That is why I chose today's verse for today's Word Filled Wednesday. Right now we are "going with what we know". It has become our mantra. And what I know is that I can trust in the Lord with all my heart even when I don't understand.

In My Own Suffering, Through Every Pain, Every Tear
There's A God Who's Been Faithful To Me
When My Strength Was All Gone
When My Heart Had No Song
Still In Love He's Proved Faithful To Me
Every Word He's Promised Is True
What I Thought Was Impossible I've Seen My God Do
He's Been Faithful, Faithful To Me
Looking Back His Love And Mercy I See
Though In My Heart I Have QuestionedAnd Failed To Believe
He's Been Faithful, Faithful To Me!

There's a Kirk Franklin song "Can you hold me now"....check it out. Everytime I listen to it, it's like God's arms are wrapping around me at that very moment.

You're in my prayers.

my family has been through a LOT in the past few years, sometimes we didn't think we would ever make it through or recover from the damage. but you know what? God is in control. He knows what is happening and why it is happening. even though it is hard to understand, our lives are more blessed by what we have been through.

you and your family are in my prayers :)

love the new background!

my FAVORITE song is "Blessed be the Name"
he gives....and he takes away
my heart will choose to say
Blessed be the Name of the Lord

it makes me realize that, yes, things are "taken away", family members (or dogs) die, innocence is lost, but i also realize how much he gives and how truly blessed i am

i COMPLETELY understand how you feel. the only time i feel okay is when i'm on my knees talking to god. the other times, i just have to push thru and have faith he is there to catch me...and i do have faith...because he has caught me...many, many times.

you are in my prayers, pretty lady.

Beautiful WFW post today. I'm sorry to hear the news but I just love your heart. Keep believing and pressing on. Part of our gift to God will be how we walked with Him, in every situation. I'm praying for you today, that you will quickly be on the other side of this soon and I look forward to reading about it. Blessings and comfort to you today!
