I hate to waste stuff. Sometimes I have coffee left over if I decide not to drink my second cup, but I hate to pour it down the sink. So, I did a little reading and there is actually quite a few things that you can do with leftover coffee!
1. Use it to marinate ribs.
2. My Mom has always added a cup of coffee to her roast when cooking it. YUM!
3. Use in making BBQ sauce
4. Violets are acid loving plants. Water your violets and other acid loving plants with coffee.
5. Make frappucinos (recipe below)
6. Dip paper into coffee and let dry -- it will have an antique look
7. If you have dark furniture, use a Q-tip and rub across scratches.
8. Make a mixture of grounds and coffee and pour around plants. This will keep out slugs. Just make sure your plants can take the acid.
9. If all else fails, make ice cubes to add to your coffee when it is super hot.
Frappucino Recipe
Mix:
2 cups cold coffee
3 cups of whole milk
3 cups of half and half (or heavy cream)
1 cup of sugar
2 tbs good chocolate syrup like ghiradelli
1/4 cup flavored coffee syrup in vanilla, or whatever
Mix well. Chill for 1 hour for best results.

All great suggestions! As you recall, I dumped my coffee grounds on the sad geraniums on my back deck, and now they're flourishing!http://poprs.blogspot.com/2008/06/would-you-like-geraniums-with-your.html I'm gonna just try the old, cold coffee next time and see what happens. BTW, thanks for entering my Latest Giveaway! Please remember to Share the Comment Love, and encourage your Bloggy Friends to enter, too! Thanks!!

Thanks! Love the ice cube thing!
But let me just tell ya what I do with mine COMPOST! COMPOST! It is a great way to recycle coffee, coffee grounds, newspapers, leftovers, and the best part it is soooooo easy. It might smell a little, but if you are a farmer or maybe like me love to grow plants this is a wonderful thing b/c you will never need soil or fertilizer again. Here the big one it will save the environment, plus I'm a firm believer of organically grown veg, and fruits, ok this is long Deanna sorry just wanted to support the cause.... :)
Wow, those are really great ideas. I had NO idea you could do all of that with left over coffee. Thanks so much for sharing. God bless!!!
Stuff your pincushions with dried grounds, supposedly keeps your needles sharp!:-)
There is ALWAYS leftover coffee at our house so these tips will come in handy for me!
Coffee as a slug-repellent is news to me. I'll give it a try! Thanks.
MM - Composting is a great idea!
