Feeling missed...
After being gone for about four hours to a wedding, I walked through the back door tired, hot and with achy feet. As soon as I rounded the kitchen corner I heard the screams of my two boys saying, "Mom!" as they ran to give me hugs and kisses! It is so nice to be missed.
Being protected...
We were coming to an intense scene in our Alex Rider movie (a teen version of James Bond). Right when Alex shot the pilot with a dart, my guy reached over and rubbed my hand saying, "Don't be scared, Mom. He didn't kill him. He just made him go to sleep for a little while."
Being treated like a lady...
At the grocery store, the gentlemen asks if he can take out our groceries and Big Guy says, "No, thank you, I will take them out for my Mom."
Big Guy always opens my car door for me and waits for me to get in completely before he shuts it.
Having your honor defended...
While vacationing at the beach, my Daddy was talking with the boys. "You know," Daddy said, "your mom was single before she married your Daddy." "Don't you dare say something like that about my Mom!" said Little Guy.
Having your heart melt...
When you see your son take off his cap and place it over his heart at a memorial garden honoring the fallen firefighters from 2001.
like no other feeling in the world!

Ok - I'm already emotional and anxious today all at the same time.
Now it's time to go sit in a corner and cry!
What great boys you're raising. :)
You have some wonderful guys in your life. :) It is nice to know there is still sweetness in this world.
This is the nicest, sweetest thing I have read in a really long time. Your guys obviously appreciate you and I KNOW you appreciate them!
