John McCain, however ... has never been baptized and only recently started attending a Baptist church (he seems confused even on this; listed "Episcopal" as his faith on his Senate stat sheet in 2007).
The problem is not that McCain has never been baptized. It is that he hasn't been baptized into the Baptist church. I think you grew up in the Baptist church and you of all people should know how funny they are about baptism and joining and blah, blah, blah. The issue of baptism stems from the fact that he hasn't been baptized into his current church he is attending. Not that he hasn't been baptized at all.
I don't have a problem with him changing churches. You have done it. So have I. I don't condemn him for that.
Obama's pastor's words make me worry about the church he has chosen and the fact that he employs in his senate staff who are so strongly affiliated with the Nation of Islam gives me great pause.

I'm not making that up.
Yet Obama is the one Christians criticize?
